And So, It Begins.

Well…this isn’t technically the beginning but it’s where we will start. I’m looking forward to sharing my life, heart, and journey through Christ with those who wish to take part. Many paths and winding roads have led me here and I’m sure there are many ahead. Forking paths that will require me to choose…left or right.

Choices. We make them every day. Some easy, some are more difficult. Some take time to think through and some we make on a whim. But we are faced with them each and every day. There have been decisions that were made without my consent it seems. Places I’ve had to walk that were chosen for me. Even during those seasons of my life, I had a choice to make. How would I respond?

This is my passion: Giving others a gift that was given to me…the freedom to know they have a choice, they do not have to stay where they are. Teaching those who want to be taught…the ways of Christ, the One who sets us free. Helping those that want the helping…a hand extended when they are struggling to continue on. Encouraging those who need the encouragement…a voice that tells them they can do this! Cheering those on that are pressing toward the mark of their high calling…”Yes! You’re doing it!”

I tend to share the good, the bad, and the ugly. I’m real, open, and honest. I’m far from perfect and will never claim to be. Sometimes I hit the mark and sometimes I don’t. At times I feel like I’m winning and others when I am keenly aware that I’m not. But one thing is certain, I refuse to stay down when I’m down.

“Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.” Psalm 25:4
